The Element Optics Helix HD 2-16x50 SFP MRAD with RAPTR-1 reticle is engineered to provide superior performance for hunting in challenging lighting and weather conditions. It features high-definition optics for well-defined views and innovations normally only found on more-expensive scopes.
This scope offers capped, resettable turrets for enhanced performance in harsh weather and in rugged terrain. It includes two thread protector rings for those who wish to remove the caps for extended periods. The elevation turret provides adjustments in a range of 29 MRAD, with 6 MRAD per revolution using 1/10 MRAD increments. The windage turret has an adjustment range of 13 MRAD, with 1/10 MRAD increments and 6 MRAD per revolution.
The Element Optics Helix HD is highlighted by its use of ED glass for enhanced results in inclement weather and low light, and the scope is fogproof, shockproof, nitrogen purged, and waterproof to provide peace of mind. It has a removable zoom magnification throw lever, a side-focus knob with parallax-free operation from 10 yards to infinity, and 4 inches of eye relief.
The RAPTR-1 is a second focal plane (SFP) illuminated reticle featuring a simplified design based on the concept of ballistic drop compensation (BDC) rather than specific units of measurement. It comes with stickers for different combinations of magnification, distance, and projectile, to provide customized aim points based on actual shooting results. The illumination can be activated in up to six levels, with off positions between each level, and lights up the central dot only.
